Divide one square meter by the installed unit module, including the actual length and height plus vertical and horizontal joints.
Should doors and windows be subtracted?
Yes. The calculator subtracts rectangular openings from gross wall area to obtain net area.
How do mortar joints affect the estimate?
A wider joint increases the installed module and reduces units per square meter. Counting it twice can underestimate the purchase.
How much waste allowance should I add?
A common preliminary allowance is 5% to 10%, increasing for cuts, breakage, corners, transport or complex bond patterns.
How do you calculate concrete blocks for a wall?
