How to interpret the result

The calculator keeps each item separate so you can compare the amount with a job offer or payslip.

Net pay

This is the estimated amount after income tax and the deductions entered for the selected frequency.

Effective income-tax rate

Shows final income tax as a percentage of the taxable base after applying the corresponding subsidy.

Annual projection

This is a projection of recurring payments. One-time bonuses are counted once, and it is not equivalent to an annual tax return.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between gross and net salary?

Gross salary is the amount before taxes and deductions. Net salary is the estimated amount remaining after income tax and entered deductions, such as employee contributions or other discounts.

Does the calculator include IMSS?

This version does not automatically calculate IMSS, INFONAVIT, or other social-security contributions because they depend on the contribution base and specific circumstances. You can enter employee contributions manually to make the estimate closer to your payslip.

What is the employment subsidy?

It is a credit that may offset income tax on certain salary income. When applicable, it reduces estimated tax and is not treated as a salary deduction.

Can I switch from monthly to biweekly?

Yes. First indicate whether the salary is monthly, annual, or for the selected period. Then choose the pay frequency. The calculator normalizes the salary and selects the corresponding income-tax table.

Is the result an official payroll calculation?

No. It is an informational estimate based on the selected rules and entered data. Actual payroll may differ because of benefits, contribution base, deductions, residence, contract terms, incidents, and other income.
